Utillian 850 Dry Herb Vape Review For Medical Cannabis
A device that I didn't expect to put the Venty through it's paces with some incredibly well laid out design choices.
It's not often I review a Dry Herb Vape that then becomes my daily driver like this has. Now don't let me get ahead of myself, there's plenty of cons to balance the pros as with any device. But, if you're like me and you hadn't heard of this device before, take my advice and look into it. You may well be surprised like I was!
*Disclaimer*
This is my honest review on a medical cannabis device from first hand experience. This article is not to promote the sale of any illegal drugs, but to show how this device can work in line with a legal prescrition here in the UK.
TVape reached out and asked for me to provide my honest opinion highlighting the good and the bad. So what you see here is my honest review. I pride myself on being transparent, and will only praise a device if it deserves it as the last thing I want is for medical patients to waste money when their prescriptions cost enough in the first place!
Utillian 850 Dry Herb Vape Review
I approached this review with little to no background knowledge on the device. After working in this space for the past 8+ years, it get's to a point where it's really hard to tell the difference and what to expect from spec sheets and marketing materials. More often than not, you simply need to sit down with the device and use it to find out the actual pros and cons of these devices.
As a result of this, I totally under estimated this device. During the unboxing video for example you'll see me coughing up a lung as I didn't expect it to through vapour clouds as well as it did off the bat. For reference previously my daily driver has been the Venty where it can churn through material. So as this device was smaller and with a finer pathway, I didn't think it would match the same processing power. I was wrong.
It goes beyond this with the Utillian 850 though, with some simple design choices I believe this is one of the most accessible dry herb vapes for patients with dexterity issues. As well as making it much easier to maintain than some other popular devices.
Before getting too much into it all, let's just say this is a device that deserves your attention and though it is on the pricier side of things, after a couple of months using it daily I can say it is worth every penny.

4 Downsides of the Utillian 850
Main Review

First Impressions
First impressions were that it was lightweight for it's size, may have felt a little plasticky but generally impressed by the size, and feel in the hand.
Jumping into the accessories included also gave me peace of mind as they had clearly thought through this device from a medical perspective.

The price
When it comes to medical cannabis, one thing we all know is that's it's not cheap.
So when choosing the right Dry Herb Vape for your needs, price can play a big role in what is accesible to you.
The Utillian 850 comes in at the higher end of the scale at around £320. So understandably, for patients it's important that it delivers what other devices in this price range offer.
What I will say, is that after a month or two of use, this has taken front and center over my Venty. So in terms of whether it's worth the price to comparable devices, my answer would be absolutely. It does have some draw backs but nothing that takes away from the dosing of the device and actual functionality. For the price you receive a well rounded device capable and ready of churning through flower or concentrates. Preparing medical patients for the newly added concentrates here in the UK.

The Utillian 850 Vaporizer Review:
My Conclusion
Being up front I didn't have high expectations for this device, but it really surprised me.
From the broad temperature ranges, fast heat up time, and well thought out ergenomics for loading/ cleaning the device it left a lasting impression on me. It has now gone on to retire my Venty which I have been relying on primarily for a few years now and that's saying something.
The market is absolutely saturated with brands and options to try out, so it can be a bit hard to know what to expect. However the Utillian 850 really shines through as well thought out device with features that should satisfy most UK medical cannabis patients.
Having put it through it's paces for a couple of months now, i'm glad to report that it has continued to work without any hiccups and still delivers great results time after time.
Yes some people won't like the plastic feel to it vs other premium options, but ultimately the weight trade off makes this alot more accessible to patients with dexterity issues so I see this over all as a plus.
If you're in the market for a premium device to cover both flower and concentrates, then you can't go wrong with this setup.
