After a tattoo, your skin begins to heal and is under stress. So when choosing a product to use during this time, it's vital there's no additional stress from allergies or irritants. This way you're allowing your skin to heal optimally without adding more work to the load.
The goal is to support your skin efficiently, not to add scents and other compounds for it to navigate during this time.

How to use:
We believe in a slow and gentle approach with tattoos, but before anything else, speak to your tattoo artist!
Your artist will no doubt have their own preferences knowing how their work heals best. So take their advice on how to approach your aftercare. Our balm comes in at the point where they advise you apply something to stop it from drying out and cracking.
In our experience this can be anything from a day or two to a week depending on their process. Then when the time is ready, apply a small amount only to the areas showing drying. You dont want to over saturate your skin! This is about slow gentle support. You may find areas around the tattoo are a little red, you can also apply the balm to these areas as well.
If you ever have any worries about the way you tattoo balm is healing it is always worth speaking with your artist. Some things are totally normal but it's always worth being safe than sorry!
When ever using this balm make sure you keep your hands clean to keep the balm fresh for future applications!
