CBD topicals have become a broad category in the United States. Shoppers can choose from creams, salves, lotions, gels, roll-ons and massage products, often with cooling, warming or fragrance-free formulations.
That variety can be useful, but it also makes product pages difficult to compare. The biggest number on the label does not explain the texture, how the product is applied, what else is in the formula or whether the manufacturer provides independent testing.
