Initial consultations at private clinics typically range from £50–£100, with ongoing monthly prescription costs ranging from approximately £75–£400+ depending on the product, strain, and quantity. Some clinics offer subscription models to reduce costs. It is not currently available on the NHS for the majority of patients, meaning most costs are paid privately.

A 510 cart battery is a small rechargeable device that powers pre-filled vape cartridges using a universal 510 thread connection, the industry standard used by the vast majority of medical cannabis cart manufacturers in the UK, including Curaleaf, Adven, Rokeby and Vida. The battery heats the oil inside the cartridge to produce vapour, which is then inhaled. Most 510 batteries are compact, discreet and simple to use, making them the preferred choice for medical cannabis patients who use cartridge-based prescriptions.

All of the 510 cart batteries we stock are compatible with the standard 510 thread cartridges used by UK medical cannabis suppliers including Curaleaf, Adven, Rokeby, Vida and Columbia Care. Most medical cannabis oil cartridges perform best at lower voltages, typically between 2.4V and 3.2V. Using too high a voltage can burn the oil, degrade the cannabinoids and terpenes, and produce a harsh, unpleasant vapour. We recommend starting at the lowest available setting and increasing gradually until you find the sweet spot for your specific cartridge. A few simple tips make a significant difference. Store your cartridge upright and at room temperature, avoid leaving it in direct sunlight or a cold car as this affects the oil viscosity. Take slow, gentle draws rather than hard pulls to avoid flooding the coil. If your cartridge seems blocked, try a very brief low-power preheat to loosen the oil. The enclosed vape batteries we stock have a preheat function to help with this! Finally, keep your battery charged, a low battery produces less heat and can result in weaker, unsatisfying vapour.
