Zeus Arc GT4 Review Intro
When a company approaches you saying they have a device that is the 'Rolex' of the Dry Herb Vape world it's hard not to take notice. Either that's an incredibly bold claim with little to back it up beyond marketing hooks, or it actually stands up to this claim and delivers a brilliant piece of kit.
Considering there are already a few devices thought of as the top end products in this space, the Zeus Arc GT4 had it's work cut out for it.
I'll admit going into this review, I didn't have the highest hopes for it to compete but having been living with this device for some time now, i'm not afraid to say I was wrong.
Below I'll get into the ins and outs of this device, and my over all impressions that have lead to me to believe it could be a great piece of kit for many medical cannabis patients here in the UK.
Considering Primary Medical features
Ergenomics
Medical cannabis is prescribed for a wide range of reasons, as such there are many patients with difficulty controlling motorskills, or simply find certain shapes painful to hold/ operate.
So we consider the shape of the device with this in mind. With the Zeus being a small portable device, this can often be a great feature for patients, but it can come with it's drawbacks worth considering.
Price Point
Medical cannabis can already be expensive enough as it is with prescription and consultation costs. So the cost of a new dry herb vaporizer on top can be too much for many patients.
With this in mind, for premium devices charging more, is that price worth it for those where cost matters? With the Arc Zeus GT4 boasting that it's the Rolex of dry herb vapes, it suggests a premium price tag. But how does it compare as an investment compared to other premium devices?
Heat Up Time
With many places only offering external areas for us to medicate, we want to minimise the time having to stand outside if it's cold or uncomfortable. So heat up time can make a big difference for us. It's certainly something I have found an issue with slower devices.
The GT4 has a fast heat up time compared to other premium devices at only 35 seconds, but can it sustain this throughout the day with it's battery?
Adaptability
Devices that work great out the box are amazing, but that doesn't mean they can't be dialled into your needs more. Even if it's something simple like having the option for dosing capsules you can prepare ahead of time, or being able to easily adapt it to a waterpipe to held reduce throat iratability.
The GT4 has to be one of the most impressive devices straight out of the box with it's included water pipe adaptor, and the optional add on of the Ice Born! I'll break down how well these work in real life.

Main Review
First Impressions
First impressions were great, the device feels really well built and fits in the hand perfectly. The groove down the front/ back center makes it very comfortable to hold, and the compact size makes this a great device for when out and about.
Beyond this, when unboxing it I was incredibly impressed with how much it came with out of the box including water pipe adaptors, cleaning wipes, iso snap cotton buds, pipe cleaners and dosing capsules for both flower and concentrate.
Off the bat you could tell this was a well thought out and considered device.

The price
When it comes to medical cannabis, one thing we all know is that's it's not cheap.
So when choosing the right Dry Herb Vape for your needs, price can play a big role in what is accesible to you.
The Zeuz Arc GT4 positions itself as 'the Rolex of the Dry Herb Vape World' which understandable could raise concerns over it's price, but at £245 it's actually not at the top end of the catergory. It's by no means cheap, but considering the premium features provided and well thought out accessories that it comes with, I think this is a really solid price point that delivers with what you get.
The Ice Born
I was pleasantly surprised upon receiving the GT4 that it came with the Ice Born vapour cooler.
We've all seen bubblers/ bongs before, but I must say this stands out as one of the better units i've come across. With universal adaptors meaning you can adapt most dry herb vapes straight into this. You also have the option of a glass mouth piece or whip.
For those who prefer to have a quick strong hit rather than sitting around waiting to process their dose this makes the process a breeze. Simply load in ice or ice and water and you are good to go. Better yet, the insulation in there keeps this icy cold for hours of use in my experience.

They have clearly thought about the end user a lot when it came to putting together this device. Alot of devices come with spare O rings, a charger and brush but leave it at that.

My Conclusion
When being approached the review a 'premium' dry herb vape it can be daunting as the space already has some well established brands that tend to be the go to.
I constantly get a string of new device promos coming through our inboxes and mentioned by customers and you can easily get to the point where you feel a little numb to them all. The reason being is dry herb vapes have come such a long way that at the top end there is very little between them.
However, with the Zeus Arc GT4 it was a welcome surprise to see something refreshing and that actually delivered on it's promises.
Without going back into everything too much, the well thought out accessories that are included instead of an upsell is a big win in my eyes. Coupled by the fact it actually delivers on it's bold claims about the build quality and what it can deliver goes a long way.
Vaping style is more of a sipper than a ripper but without the airyness that you tend to get with similar devices such as the PAX. This delivers smooth flavourful vapour with a punch when needed without shooting clouds of vapour soon to fill the room.
For medical patients on the go this is a brilliant piece of kit with it's small uniform size making it easy to palm and pocket on the go. The dosing capsules also make it easy to prep ahead and swap out doses when you need them.
It is worth noting that those wanting the larger airflow and clouds of other premium devices may find themselves wanting a little more when using the device alone. However it comes with the adaptor for whips/ bubblers and more which makes quick work of large clouds when you need them. Going as far as to grabbing their Ice Born to compliment this goes a long way!
Overall i'm excited to continue to use this device, and that's saying something. My shelf is full of the 'latest and greatest' devices that had a couple of uses only to be retired as they didn't offer much above what I already use day to day. However with the Zeus Arc GT4 that hasn't been the case, I keep returning for more.
