Aurora Electric Honeydew EHD T918 Cart Review
Aurora have been a fan favourite on the flower side of things for some time now, but do their Resin carts deliver the same quality?
In short, yes they do! But are they worth the extra money vs other cheaper options? I jump into the ins and outs of the Aurora Electric Honeydew cart and compare it other offerings by Curaleaf.

Aurora Electric Honeydew EHD T918 Cart Review UK
Introduction
We are back with another review but rather than flower, its about a cart I have been wanting to try for a while now. The Aurora Electric Honeydew resin cart.
With the flower version of this product being one of my favourite recent strains, i'm sure you can appreciate why I was interested in trying the cart alternative.
With my only experiences on prescription being distillate based, I was intruiged to see if there was a noticable improvement in effects with this resin extract. Spoiler alert, there is!
But before that i'll jump into the details of this cart by Aurora breaking down the technical side and comparing to other recent reviews.
As always, if anyone has had this strain tested, or has sample COA that you think would be useful to attach here, please feel free to reach out and we’d be happy to showcase it here, along with any relevant reference back to you, and a cheeky gift card for our site as a thanks!

Main Review
Thanks for stopping by and checking out my review of the Aurora Electric Honeydew EHD T918 carts.
This was sourced legally via prescription to myself with chronic pain being the primary condition this is used for. I hope my feedback here is useful for you to make an informed choice on future prescriptions, or to avoid it depending on your needs. I always welcome feedback in terms of other specific points I could cover in these reviews. Please keep in mind that i'm not a medical professional and these are no more than my personal anecdotal experiences.
The way this device and prescription product is being discussed is with relation to a chronic pain prescription relating to nerve pain and severe headaches.

We break down our top picks for medical cannabis dry herb vaporisers for UK medical cannabis to help you make the right choice first time!

My setup for testing
This section usually goes into detail with different dry herb vaporizers and how I prefer to prepare the flower.
With carts thats much different, with simply battery options the only key takeaways will be whether the battery has pre heat etc that can reduce any blockages and the life of the coil.
The actual experience and vapour will mainly come down to power output.
So with that in mind I can't see a huge difference from battery to battery aside from these things.
With that in mind, I primarily used a CCELL Silo, and then a more discreet dual cart system to use this cart out and about. Both performed as you'd expect independently. However having the preheat function on the latter was definitely worth it.
So let's get into it and you can make your own decision.
Initial observation
These arrive in a small squeeze pop tube making them easy to travel with. The cart itself is as expected and pictured here. Nothing stands out any different than other regular carts at this stage.
If you are new to carts, typically the things i'd be looking for is any discolouration near the wicking holes in the cart or generally suspended in the liquid. I have never come across this with medical, but just an FYI as one of the things to keep an eye on. This can happen for a range of reasons, most aren't be concerned about but more preference and an indicator of age/ oxidisation of the contents. Though I think i'm safe to assume that this is unlikely to occue in medical prescription carts as they likely don't stay in stock long enough for these issues.

Aurora Electric Honeydew EHD T918 Cart
Aurora have been one of the stable premium brands since my early days in medical cannabis back in 2020. So the fact they're not matching their flower with cart offerings is a big win imo.
Across the varius companies i've had on my prescription, they have been one of the most consistent in terms of quality, strain consistency and well looked after end product. Having now experienced their carts, this seems to translate very well to these products as well.
Carts aren't for everyone, or for every dose, but being able to have an efficient dose with this complex cannabinoid and terpene profile has made medicating on the go much more effective for me than previously distillate based options.

Budget-Friendly Dry Herb Vaporizers Under £100: Top Picks for UK Vapers

Are you searching for the best cheap dry herb vaporizer in the UK? As a medical cannabis patient, I know how challenging it can be to find an affordable yet high-quality vaporizer. Everyone touts Tiny Mights and Mighty, but let's be honest, the prescription is expensive enough as it is and not everyone can afford to throw £300 at something like this.

Overall these carts are a solid option for efficient medicating when out and about, or for breakthrough pain and flare ups.
Not having to grind and prepare your dry herb vape between doses is fantastic, and finally the flavour from carts matches the complexity of flower.
I find most distillate carts to be very similar and the added terpene profiles are often too sharp giving away the non natural source/ profile. Where as with these Aurora carts that's not a problem. Though the light sweeter terpenes found in the flower aren't present in the same way, the broad flavour profile and familiar base is there. Producing a deep flavourful vapour that is much smoother than distillate counter parts such as the Que Pods we recently reviewed.
Though I can't comment on their Sourdough cart or other options yet, Aurora comes with the confidence that they wouldn't let the range down with other ingerior options. I'd happily place my bets to expect similar standards from these other offerings, but I will be sure to add reviews here should I try them in the future!

5 Quick Pros and Cons

Pro - Super convenient and discreet.
As with all carts/ pod systems these are a very efficient way to medicate. Not just in terms of setup / use time, but also in how fast you can achieve the same dose that would otherwise take 5-10 minutes to process in a dry herb vaporizer.
Aurora EHD carts are no different in this respect other than the fact they have better all round effects due to their more complex full spectrum composition.
Con - Blockages
Carts can be prone to blocking meaning you have to fiddle with them to unblock them and not waste your expensive medication.
This isn't a negative purely about Aurora as i've known this happen in a wide range of carts and pods. It's just a frustrating exeperience when you need a dose quickly but suddenly find it's blocked shut.
I have experienced this with the Aurora cart, and as such rely on a preheat battery to help keep things flowing as best as possible.

Pro - Attaches to many devices
As these are your standard 510 carts they can be used in a wide range of devices depending on your specific needs.
One thing to note is that due to these being 1ml, they are larger and can stick out of some batteries or not enclose properly inside enclosures without being alligned correctly.
It's very easy to get a solid setup to fit your exact needs and remain discreet should you wish to.
Other Strain Reviews

Aurora Sourdough
A unique aroma that pleases the senses and soothes my symptoms with ease. This 29% strain has been making waves as it's difficult for pharmacies to keep it in stock, and with good reason.
This potent strain is ideal for my afternoon and evening doses when my back starts getting sassy.

Curaleaf LA Kush Cake
LA Kush Cake was a stable for me for a while. It's a strong strain with excellent bud structure and typically consistent from batch to batch.
At 25% it sits as one of the stronger options, but can be used to balance symptoms in the day in light measures!

Wedding Pop Triangle (WPT)
I had no idea what to expect when this was added to my prescripton, but when I stuck my nose into the bag I was immediately transported back to Amsterdam in 2007. A familiar sour tone came flooding through backed up with some other familiar tones that I still cannot put my finger in. All in all I was really happy and the effects backed it up.
Sadly from batch to batch I haven't always had that same impactiful terpene profile, though effects have typically remained consistent. My recent two batches have been on point though!

Overall impression
Aurora have delivered yet again with their Electric Honeydew cart and to be honest, i'm not surprised!
Being a medical patients in the UK can be a pain at times (no pun intended) due to the varying stock levels, strains appearing and disappearing etc. So when something as effective as this comes out, it's good to have the peace of mind that it's with a brand and line up that isn't going anywhere.
As with any organic product, there will be stock level issues at times but generally speaking you can bet that it will come back in stock. So as someone whos found this incredibly useful for my needs, it's a great product to have and rely on moving forwards.
For those who have tried previous cheaper carts and weren't decided on whether carts were for you, these may well be worth trying to see the difference in effects and how smooth these vape in comparison.
If I have missed anything, you have something to add, or simply want to say hello, please drop us a message and let me know. I'll be sure to return and keep this page up to date!
In the meantime, thanks for reading and I hope you've found this useful!
